Local Groups
(1) Bromsgrove Climate Action is a subgroup of Friends of the Earth. They meet a couple of times a month, one of them face-to-face in Millfields Social Club over a beer. They can be seen in a street stall on the High Street selling insect posters, craft items, postcards to the MP, and Guess the Bee's name. Contact: bcaction@creativedge.uk
(2) Bromsgrove Repair Cafe takes place in All Saints Church Hall in the afternoon (usually starts at 14:30) on the first Saturday of the month. Bring your items to be repaired, mended or sharpened by a team of extraordinary volunteer repairers, and enjoy some delicious cake and tea/coffee while you wait. We usually have skills to repair electrical and electronic equipment, furniture, toys, clocks, jewellry, clothing, also tool sharpening and bikes by previous arrangement. Contact repaircafebromsgrove@gmail.com
(3) Bromsgrove Climate Cafe meets every first Saturday of the month at 10:00 (until 11:20) in the Methodist Centre, 19 Stratford Road. We sometimes have a topic, but it is always about sharing hopes, fears and feelings about the Climate and Nature Crisis over tea or coffee. Bring a poem.
